Open

Core is yours, even when Prifina hosts it.

A personal layer that only one company can operate is just a nicer silo. PIOS is the open architecture behind Core, and Connect is meant to work with any compatible provider, not only with us.

What being open means in practice

Use Core by Prifina

Let Prifina host and run your Core for you.

Run your own Core

Host a compatible Core yourself if you would rather.

Move providers

Take your Core to another compatible provider.

Connect third party apps

Anything that supports Core, not only Prifina apps.

Connect third party agents

Your agent definitions travel with you.

Control permissions

Decide what each app and agent can reach.

Export your information

Get everything out in a usable form.

Revoke access

End a connection whenever you want.

PIOS

The architecture, separate from the provider.

PIOS defines how personal information is structured, how provenance is kept, how applications interact with a Core, how permissions work and how everything stays portable. Core by Prifina is one implementation of it. It should not be the only one.

That is what gives Connect its weight. It is an ecosystem action rather than a Prifina integration mechanism.
